What we believe about living fully, and how it shapes everything you will find at UNBOUND.
Living fully is noticing the beauty in ordinary days. Laughter, simple pleasures, the people around your table. It means refusing to wait for a perfect moment, because the life in front of you is already worth showing up for.
More is not more things. It is more health so you feel capable in your body, more connection with the people who matter, more adventure, more purpose in your work, and more room for faith. Each one is a choice, and each choice is available today.
Freedom is not running from your life. It is trusting yourself again, letting go of what no longer fits, and building what comes next with hope instead of fear. Unbound by old stories, old expectations and the idea that it is too late.
Faith in God is at the heart of UNBOUND. It is the foundation everything else is built on: why we see each day as a gift, where we find hope and strength in hard seasons, and why we believe life is meant to be lived fully.
Faith shapes the stories we share, the scripture on our cards and the way we encourage one another to grow. Wherever you are in your own journey, you are welcome here, and faith will always be shared openly.
Health is a means to live more fully, not the only measure of success. Practical, grounded education for feeling capable, energized and confident in your body.
Practical, grounded wellness stories live in The Journal, alongside freedom, adventure, faith, purpose and connection.

Freedom, wellness, adventure, faith, purpose and connection. Written for anyone ready for a brighter next chapter.
Thoughtful stories on freedom, wellness, adventure, faith, purpose, and connection. A little inspiration to help you live more fully, delivered to your inbox.
I've always been a little different.
The black sheep. The one who marched to the beat of her own drum. A bit of a gypsy soul who never quite felt the need to follow the same path as everyone else.
I've always been independent, strong-willed, direct, and sometimes a little impulsive. I've made big decisions without having every detail figured out. I've taken chances, followed my instincts, and done things that left my family wondering, What in the world is she doing now?
Some of those decisions turned into incredible experiences. Others became lessons I had to learn the hard way.
But that's always been part of who I am.
I've never been someone who wanted to live life according to everyone else's expectations.
But there's another side of me that people don't always see.
As independent and strong-willed as I've always been, I've also spent a lot of my life wanting to feel accepted. Wanting to belong. Wanting approval from the people around me, even when I was determined to do things my own way.
I've questioned whether I was smart enough, good enough, successful enough, or even pretty enough.
And if I'm being completely open, those are things I still struggle with.
It's a strange combination sometimes. I'm the person who's willing to pack up her entire life and move across the country alone, yet I still find myself questioning my own worth.
I've had moments of confidence and courage, followed by moments when I doubted myself over things that probably wouldn't even cross someone else's mind.
For a long time, I let other people's opinions, expectations, and the way they treated me influence how I saw myself.
I'm still learning to separate my worth from other people's approval.
And maybe that's part of what being UNBOUND means to me, too.
Not just having the freedom to go where I want or do what I want, but finding the freedom to be myself without constantly questioning whether I'm enough.
Somewhere along the way, I found myself doing what so many of us do. Working hard, building a career, navigating relationships, overcoming challenges, and creating a life that looked pretty good from the outside.
I'm good at what I do. I've worked hard, built a solid career in the corporate world, and learned how to stand on my own.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending more time building a life than actually enjoying it.
And the truth is, my journey hasn't always been pretty.
I've experienced loss that changed me, relationships that left me questioning my worth, and seasons when I wasn't particularly proud of the person looking back at me in the mirror.
I've stayed in situations longer than I should have. I've given too much of myself to people who didn't always deserve it. I've made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, and sometimes let my emotions or impulses lead me in directions I probably should have thought through a little more.
But I've learned something along the way.
Our past doesn't have to define the rest of our lives.
We can acknowledge our mistakes without allowing them to become our identity. We can experience heartbreak without giving up on love. We can grieve what we've lost while still believing something beautiful lies ahead.
And we can decide that the next chapter doesn't have to look anything like the last.
I've also been fortunate enough to experience some incredible adventures. I've traveled across the world, explored unfamiliar places, and stepped outside my comfort zone.
Not because I had everything figured out.
But because something inside me said there was more to experience.
That free-spirited, independent part of me has always been there. Sometimes buried beneath responsibilities, expectations, relationships, and the demands of everyday life, but never completely gone.
And the older I get, the more I realize I don't want to lose that part of myself.
Life is meant to be lived, not just managed.
I'm 47, single, and still figuring things out. I've made mistakes. I've started over. I've changed my mind. And I'm sure I'll do some of those things again.
But I no longer believe we have to have everything perfectly planned to create a meaningful life.
What I want from the years ahead is actually pretty simple.
More freedom. More adventure. More laughter. More meaningful connections. More purpose. More time for the people and experiences that matter.
Not necessarily more things.
Just more life.
That's why I created UNBOUND.
UNBOUND is about giving ourselves permission to live differently.
To stop worrying so much about what everyone else thinks. To take chances, explore new possibilities, prioritize our health, strengthen our faith, build meaningful relationships, and make room for the experiences that bring us joy.
It's about recognizing that we can be grateful for the lives we've built while still wanting something different.
I believe God has a purpose for each of us. And I don't believe we're meant to spend our lives simply going through the motions, waiting for the perfect time to start living.
I'm not creating UNBOUND because I've figured it all out or because I have some perfect life to share.
Quite the opposite.
I'm creating it because I'm still learning, still growing, still making changes, and still discovering what living fully means to me.
And maybe you're doing the same.
Whether you're starting over, searching for purpose, craving adventure, healing from the past, strengthening your faith, or simply realizing you want more out of life, I hope UNBOUND reminds you that you're allowed to choose a different path.
You don't have to follow everyone else's timeline.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
And you certainly don't have to stop dreaming just because life hasn't gone exactly as planned.
Live fully. Choose more. Stay UNBOUND.
